I’m not sure what most readers are using for domain registrations but I’ve found Namecheap to be one of the best. They offer free domain privacy with all their domain purchases in addition to a list of other free stuff. To get the best deal for Namecheap here is August 2008 Code: summerends which brings the price to $8.41 per domain registration!

You may also consider Godaddy which offers $6.95 domains if you just search Google for “Godaddy” it will be the Sponsored Link. Godaddy also has free domain privacy with the purchase of 5 or more domains. Bringing it to a total of $35.75 with ICANN fees. However if you are planning to register 5 or more domains with privacy for longer than 1 year its better to go with Namecheap. Lets break down the costs here with RENEWAL costs cause thats the deal breaker:

Godaddy: $6.95/domain + fees or Total: $35.75 for 5 domains
Renewal: $9.99/domain
Privacy: $8.99/domain

Total Renewal Cost(5 Domains) with Godaddy:  $94.90 or $18.98/domain

Namecheap: $8.41/domain or Total: $42.05 for 5 domains
Renewal: $9.29/domain
Privacy: $7.88 for 5 domains

Total Renewal Cost(5 Domains) with NameCheap:  $54.33 or $10.87/domain
Savings: $8.11 per domain after first year

So if you are hosting plenty of domains at Godaddy and use private registration you might want to think about Namecheap. They are a top notch registrar and I’ve never had problems. Just a side note this current domain is not registered with Namecheap but I will be transfering it once its term is up! Hope I could save you guys a little cash cause we all know how hard it is to make a dime online.
